ONLY GOODWILL IN HELPING POOR COUNTRIES

The fight against poverty requires actions and solutions to be implemented in all areas of society. Poverty can be reduced through policies that promote responsible governance, support to micro, small-scale agriculture, income equality and access to credit, education and training. It should ensure equal opportunities for boys, girls, youth, women, underserved communities and indigenous people.

Some years ago Mexico City hosted the UN summit dedicated to the fight against poverty. There were many those who criticized that the percentage that was destined for the poorest countries by richest countries was totally inadequate and began to study various measures to increase it as far as possible. After intense and heated debate it was decided to augment the percentage until getting a 0.7%.

Nowadays, it results that all those stories about fight against poverty don’t serve for nothing, in results: poor people are poorer and rich people richer.
